Innovate with Us Blaxtair Pedestrian Proximity Detection

Commitment to improve the safety on site is an intrinsic part of the Flannery proposition. As a business, it is important that we take a proactive approach to testing and evaluating new technology and innovations. This ensures we are able to meet the growing demands for site safety and deliver the best safety solutions to clients.

As part of our innovation program, Flannery has been working collaboratively with Blaxtair to undertake the trial of the new Blaxtair Pedestrian Proximity Detection system, which was fitted on a CAT 315F excavator. This system utilises Artificial Intelligence (AI), allied to a smart 3D camera, to recognise pedestrians if they enter a predefined detection zone around a machine.
