World Suicide Prevention Day 2023

Sunday the 10th of September is World Suicide Prevention Day

The statistics for suicide rates in the construction industry are shocking for all, and we're continuing to encourage not just the team at Flannery, but anybody to reach out to a friend, family member, colleague or mental health first aider if they need to talk.

Remember, there is always somebody there who is ready to listen and many more who care about you and your wellbeing.

If you're looking for ways to keep your mind healthy, we recommend trying the following:

• Keeping active

• Eating well

• Drinking sensibly

• Keeping in touch with friends, family and colleagues

• Asking for help when you need it

• Taking a break

• Taking time to do something you enjoy doing/are good at
