Plant Operator
The Construction Plant Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship is perfect for anyone interested in a hands-on career in construction, particularly those who enjoy working with heavy machinery and are curious about the mechanics of plant and equipment.
- Duration: 12–15 months
- Training: Combines on-site experience with classroom-based instruction
Machines Covered:
- 360 Excavator
- Forward Tipping Dumper or Dump Truck
- Telescopic Handler
- Ride-on Roller
Apprentices will gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to operate plant safely and efficiently on site. This structured programme ensures learners are site-ready and confident to progress in their careers.
Mechanical Engineer
We also offer opportunities for Mechanical Engineering apprentices to support our machine capability and depot operations. Apprentices can:
- Work in our depots maintaining and servicing plant machinery
- Gain experience as field service engineers on-site
- Develop practical engineering skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical knowledge in a hands-on environment

Hire Controller
The Hire Controller Apprenticeship provides a pathway into plant hire and operations management, combining office-based training with real-world exposure to equipment scheduling, logistics, and customer service. Apprentices will learn how to:
- Coordinate plant and machinery hires
- Support depot and site operations
- Gain valuable experience in administration and operational planning
